The five-star lodging facilities at estancia "La Paloma Riverside" are as exceptional as the local hunting conditions. This recently completed (Aug 2004) picturesque South-American colonial style lodge offers 7,800 sq. ft of modern conveniences in sumptuous yet cozy surroundings.

Decorated with refinement, every room features shooting and hunting motifs. The luxurious 1,100 sq. ft. living room features a large fireplace, which comes in handy during the mild winter months, along with comfortable seats and couches in which to relax after a long day's hunt. In addition, the three story building features an exclusive penthouse, 6 first floor bedrooms, 4 second floor bedrooms with balconies, large spacious dining room,  and upper level liqueur bar with outside decks for viewing the river and watering dove. Each spacious bedroom is equipped with two beds and private bath to make you feel at home.

The back facade features a swimming pool, and a large deck that overhangs and faces 1000 yards of river shore and 720 acres of wild virgin woods. Located just 25 yards from the front of the building is an artificial lake equipped with bird watching and photography blinds where thousands of doves can be seen watering at any given moment.

Your meals will be served in the spacious dinning room and the resident gourmet chef will impress you with every meal. From the carefully prepared breakfasts to the most elaborate four-course dinners, each meal  rivals those served in the finest North American or European restaurants. The Argentinean meats are renowned across the world and the chef knows how to prepare them like no other. Each meal is accompanied by the finest local wines and followed up with the most tempting home made desserts. After dinner, you can cross over to the living room to partake in conversation and an after dinner drink.

Aside from offering the best dove hunting in the world in the most luxurious surroundings, the whole concept behind Estancia "La Paloma Riverside" is to provide you the most relaxing stay, and with the least possible aggravations at the lowest cost possible. To achieve this goal, the lodge was built in the middle of the dove hunting fields and is within a few minutes walking distance of some fields and all other fields are reached in 5 to 10 minutes in our 4x4 vehicles. This arrangement completely eliminates those hour-plus long bus rides that all the other Cordoba dove hunting destinations force you to endure every morning and evening. At estancia "La Paloma Riverside" you can sleep in and enjoy a nice relaxing breakfast and still be in the fields shooting birds at a reasonable time. At lunch time, you will be relaxing in the comfort of the lodge whether it be taking a "siesta" in your comfortable bed, or lounging around poolside, while the other destination groups are having to eat their lunch in the field and search for a  spot under a tree to get out of the elements.
